Step 1: Choose tissue

Take your quilt and sew the flaps, remember to cut the flaps according to the size of the bedspread not to waste material.

Before you start joining the pieces, you can form the quilt on the floor with the pieces of tissue and play with the different pieces until you have the drawing you want.
Tip That is gold: it is important to wash the flaps before starting to unite, because the tissue that has never been washed can drop ink and stain the other pieces of tissue when they are all sewn.
At the end of the washing, you should also iron all the pieces of tissue, to be easier to work with.
Sew all the patchwork parts on the quilt exactly as you planned it would be.
