Carpet mug Hexagon patchwork

Learn how easy it is to make a beautiful Carpet mug Hexagon patchwork. This project is so fast and easy that you can do between one or two afternoons having a delicious coffee. It would be a great end-of-the-year or birthday gift.
Even though it is simple, it takes a basic pattern to make it even simpler and easier. Start by cutting 4 "in triangles using a Hex N More ruler (or any 60 degree ruler). Be comfortable as the options are unlimited.
Start Hexagon patchwork carpet mug with smaller strips for roller coasters, or if you like and weave use large as you want. You can go all the way down to the size of the mat. Or, take out the triangles before cutting them to add variety. The finished mug rug is about 7 "on both sides.
It's really cute. You can also play with quilting. This will be a fun project to try quilting with decorative stitches instead of the traditional straight stitch. I hope it inspired you with a simple project but that in the end can become very beautiful and cozy. It's fun for me. Good job.
